The Beginning: From Friendship to Business

Friends to partners

It all started with the friendship between the two founders, Ihor Bukur and Andrii Karpovets. When working for someone else ceased to bring satisfaction, they decided to start their own company. This decision was not spontaneous but brought relief after their previous jobs. Andrii came up with the idea to found the company, which gave rise to their joint venture. Initially, they rented a small apartment where a team of four people answered calls and packed parcels.

The founders began searching for ways to generate income. The idea was already there; it was time to develop a plan. Gradually, they found what worked. Initially, the team consisted of five employees, then fifteen. The company grew along with the founders, generating new ideas, inviting new people, and creating additional business directions. Good spirits and work results motivated them to keep moving forward. Each year, volumes increased, inspiring new achievements.

From Challenges to Transformation

Challenges to transformation

Not everything went smoothly. The war in 2014 brought serious challenges. The company lost a significant portion of its clients in Crimea and Donetsk regions, forcing them to look for new paths to growth.

One of the pivotal steps was opening their own factory. The company began positioning itself as a producer of high-quality wellness products. This transformed their approach to work and heightened their pride in their accomplishments.

Building a New Team

To improve management, Yevhen Shulha was invited to take the position of CEO. He brought new energy and knowledge, which helped form a modern and professional team. Previously, the company operated under a family-type management style, with Ihor and Andrii dividing responsibilities themselves. But with Yevhen's arrival, positive changes began.

The contact center, which initially consisted of 50 people, began to grow rapidly. New branches were opened in Sumy and Mykolaiv, allowing for significant expansion. The company grew by 50% annually.

During the pandemic, the Simpatik Group team quickly adapted to new conditions. Employees swiftly adjusted work processes to meet new challenges. This enabled the company to continue operations and maintain a high level of customer service.

During the full-scale war in 2022, employees found themselves scattered across different cities and countries but continued working. Daily online meetings became an essential part of their work, providing support and connection. This helped them withstand the most challenging initial months of the war when the company was not operational, and accounts were emptied.

Resuming Work and Recovery

Back to work

The Simpatik Group team did not give up. After two months of downtime, they gradually resumed operations. The first mailings showed that clients were ready to make purchases. Work was gradually restored, and the company returned to normal functioning.

At that time, Simpatik Group already owned its premises, which became a crucial factor for recovery. However, debts to partners and suppliers remained, and the company began gradually repaying them.

Social Responsibility and Support

Social responsibility

Before the war, the Simpatik Group successfully ran a "Happiness Department," organizing various events, sports activities, and charity initiatives. This initiative united the team and created a positive atmosphere.

The pandemic and war made adjustments, but the company continues to support good deeds financially. Currently, Simpatik Group actively helps children and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, allocating about a million hryvnias monthly for charity projects.

people are the key

At Simpatik Group, it is believed that engaged and satisfied employees are the key to success. If people are not interested, they won’t work wholeheartedly. Therefore, creating comfortable working conditions is a priority.

It is important that every employee can realize their professional skills and enjoy their work. Before the war, the holding actively supported clubs and extracurricular activities, including yoga, football, running, and embroidery. These activities enriched the team’s lives with meaning and contributed to their development.

Creating the Atmosphere

Creating an atmosphere

An essential part of corporate culture is creating an atmosphere where employees enjoy spending their time. Working at Simpatik Group is not just about fulfilling duties but also about a place where people can grow personally. When work is enjoyable, people are interested not only in salaries but also in the results of their efforts. This significantly impacts the company’s success.

Leisure and shared activities are also important. Employees can pursue their hobbies and participate in volunteer initiatives, such as weaving camouflage nets during the war. We used to organize guided tours and joint trips, which helped bring the team closer together. This allows the team to avoid burnout from routine work, maintaining enthusiasm and productivity.

Our employees are our greatest treasure. Their professionalism, dedication, and talents make Simpatik Group stronger. We believe that with such a team, any heights can be achieved!
